In 2025, Danielle joined the Zambia Youth Parliament for Water to Champion the Pad-A-Girl Campaign and Hygiene Advocacy. Reaching thousands of girls across Zambia, the campaign aims to break the stigma surrounding menstruation while addressing the challenges that prevent girls from accessing proper sanitary products and safe hygienic facilities.
In 2024, Danielle joined the KAIROS’ 16 days of activism against gender based violence in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and South Sudan. In close collaboration with partners in those countries the campaign reaches thousands of people in different communities across the 2 countries.
In 2024, Danielle is flown out to Bali, Indonesia for the 10th World Water Forum. There she represented youth voices and contributed to the drafting of youth policies and statements on water governance and climate change.
In November 2024, Danielle was invited to lead an interactive session with elders members of KAIROS in Edmonton, Canada on the SDGs and on the importance of intergenerational dialogue to create a sustainable world.
In 2024, Danielle is invited to the House of Commons of the Canadian Parliament. There, she briefed Members of the Parliament on the urgency and importance of Canada to strengthen youth voices, and implement tangible actions like measurables policies for women, girls, and youth inclusion in the SDGs, and development, especially for those living in conflicted eras.
In 2023, Danielle is invited by GIZ, UN-Water, and the German Federal Ministry for the Environment to moderate a panel session and to give fresh youth perspective on the climate-water-biodiversity triple nexus during COP 28 in Dubai.
In 2023, Danielle was invited by UN-Water as a keynote speaker, to give youth perspectives and to reflect on youth-led initiatives in the water sector during SDGs High-Level Political Forum in New York.
In 2023, during the United Nations 2nd water conference in New York, Danielle was invited as a keynote speaker on youth governance and reducing inequalities – implementing Human Rights, hosted by AMCOW, AQUAFED, The government of Cote d’Ivoire, and the African Union.
In 2023, Danielle joined the Blue water school networks as a Board member and Director, educating hundreds of young children across Canada on the SDGs and on water governance.
In 2023, Danielle was invited to join and host with the NEIP a training and capacity building session for female inmates at the Sekondi Female Prison in Accra-Ghana. The program aimed to provide female inmates with skills development and entrepreneurial training, to facilitate their reintegration into society after release, and to earn a living, reducing poverty SDG 1 and contributing to their communities. A lot was learned about the SDGs as a whole.
In 2023, Danielle worked with the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP) in Ghana, as a young leader and researcher on the Ghana Youth NEET (Not in Employment, Education or Training) Rate, providing meaningful ways to include youth voices in the economic and sustainable development of the Republic of Ghana
In 2022, Danielle is flown out to Dakar, Sénégal where she represented youth voices at the 9th World Water Forum, and was a special guest at the Senegalese National Television explaining the importance of youth voices and youth inclusion in water governance
In 2022, Danielle founded the African Youth Parliament for Water (AYPW), a bilingual grassroot youth-led, gender balanced, non-profit organization focused on water and sanitation development across the African continent, and its direct effects on climate change, quality education, and youth empowerment. The AYPW is mobilizing +30 000 youth voices online and on the field across the African continent, and is implemented in 24 African countries so far, aiming to reach all 54 countries.
In 2022, Danielle is invited to give the First ever presentation of a youth statement on water and climate issues at the 36th United Nations-Water 2022 roundtable.

In 2021, Danielle joined the UNICEF Africa Hackathon campaign as a judge and leader, on youth innovative solutions to end open defecation in West and Central Africa.
In 2021, Danielle was elected as the global Vice President of the World Youth Parliament for Water (WYPW), a platform that she used to raise awareness, advocate, and implement concrete actions with members and +15 000 young leaders worldwide, fostering youth engagement in water governance.
In 2019, Danielle is one of 12 representatives chosen in her university, to represent her university at the National Model United Nations, where she represented the Republic of Mali.
In 2025, Danielle’s leadership and advocacy journey was recognized by the Canadian government, and she was one of the 7 leaders selected accross Canada, invited to represent Canada, as a Canadian delegate at the 69th UNCSW. There she delivered a speech, representing Canada and youth voices during the high-level interactive dialogue Beijing@30: A dialogue with youth representatives during 11th plenary meeting of CSW69.
